I love babywearing. It really is the secret to how I function, especially when I’m out with a crazy toddler and an infant!
I’ve been asked several times for information, how-to’s and other questions about baby wearing so here’s some answers.
– I’ve used (and liked) 3 different types of carriers. I use a ring sling the most. That is what is pictured above. It’s easy, lightweight and really quick to put on and off. It’s also the easiest to nurse in. I posted a video on YouTube on how to use it.
– I also love the Moby Wrap. This is a really common wrap and you can get it most places, such as Target. It is the most affordable of the options, but it’s also pretty complicated. Most people have asked for how-to videos on the Moby, so I have one for how to wrap it (the part every one thinks is hard) and one for how to do a few different things with it.
– When the babies are bigger (especially toddler size) I love my Beco Butterfly II – it is a “structured” carrier and is comprable to the Ergo. It is preferable to a Bjorn or other “crotch danglers” for comfort and for the safety and ergonomical benefits. It’s especially Dad-friendly and also carries as a back pack for when you’re little (or big) one wants to hop on while you get stuff done!
Charlotte has decided that is enough information for one post! If you have any questions, please post a comment below and I will answer it!
