I hate pumping. I hate the noise my pump makes. I hate how milk always drips all over. But those things I cannot fix, if I want to ever have more than 2 hours away from the baby.
But I also hate bags of breastmilk hanging out all over my freezer. THAT, I can fix! And alas, I stumbled upon a quick, easy and cheap storage solution.
Step 1. Get a small gift bag. (I already had this one, but you can definitely use a smaller and cheaper one)

Step 2. Cut a small slit in the side of the bag - about 1/2 an inch. Use Scotch tape to reinforce the slot.

Your milk storage bag should lay flat and the label side should stick out the slot.

I used an index card to reinforce the side panel and wrote "milk" on it... just in case anyone was snooping around my freezer.
And Wa-La! Breast milk organized by date, so you use the oldest first AND stored flat so they defrost quickly. You can also use this in your fridge if you don't freeze your milk.
And now the GIVE A WAY... I LOVE LOVE LOVE this blog -

I read it a lot, and not because I know this girl, but because I am an absolute stalker. She always has super cute ideas, and now she is doing an amazing give a way, and one way to enter is to blog about it. So I beg of you, DO NOT enter this contest because I don't want competition... okay, fine, enter. And read her blog, because it's super fun. Good Luck! And thanks Melissa for your give a way!
